An Imam in Guinea has been banned from speaking in the name of Islam amid the cleric’s defiance to continue praying and spreading the word of God in his native tongue, Malinke known in Gambia as Mandinka.

Imam Nanfy Diaby was recently released from prison for leading congregational prayers in Mandinka in Guinea.
